Job Details:

Zef Scientific seeks to hire a Service Engineer to work in Newark, Delaware. The duties of the position will be as follows:

• Installation, Demo, Customer Training, Troubleshooting ,Servicing & Maintenance of Thermo Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometers (QQQ- TSQ I and TSQ II series LCMS/MS, Q Exactive Series Orbitrap, Exploris Series Orbitrap , Ion Trap LTQ series LCMS/MS, Hybrid LTQ/Velos Orbitrap series, Tribrid Orbitrap Series -Fusion, Lumos and Eclipse , LCMS Front End UHPLC/Nano LC – Ultimate 3000 RSLC series, Vanquish UHPLC Series, Ultimate 3000 Nano RS LC, Easy nLC 1000/1200 series);
• Training scientists in the use of liquid chromatographs and mass spectrometers;
• Identify faults in equipment by analyzing electronic diagrams for any liquid chromatography and mass spectrometer instrumentations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering or closely related academic discipline;
• Five years’ experience with mass spectrometry and liquid chromatography devices
