Associate Director - Forecasting & Innovation w/ Novo Nordisk Inc. in Plainsboro, NJ.
Support development of forecasts for Rare Diseases portfolio and upcoming new Therapeutic Areas to Novo Nordisk including, but not limited to CV, NASH, and Alzheimer’s. Help support delivery of holistic, insight-driven volume forecasts for our Rare Disease portfolio for in-line brands, based on assessment of market trends and expected future events. Develop methodologies and approaches for assessing the market landscape of new TAs and developing assumptions-based, but fact-grounded forecasts for future Novo Nordisk pipeline products. Communicate realistic demand expectations in a clear, concise, transparent manner, and to all levels of the organization. Set direction and drive continuous improvement of forecasting methodologies, tools, and core deliverables. Participate and help drive quant Market Research (with CI&A) to support forecasting of future product launches. Collaborate with Strategic Finance on existing data assets and ensure integration into upcoming Forecasting platforms. Develop and communicate the NNI AB (anchor budget) and RE (rolling estimate) forecasts for pipeline products. Develop ad hoc analysis tools to support Forecast. Work closely Finance Business Partner for Rare Diseases and Direct report to build trends for current assets and model upcoming events that impact trend, gathering assumptions in collaboration with Finance BP from other departments in F&O plus Commercial.
Must possess a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration or a related field and minimum 2 years of experience working with analytics and forecasting in a pharmaceutical setting. Experience must include the following skills/tools/technologies: Understanding of IQVIA data, including its scope, uses, and limitations; Business Intelligence (BI) and Data visualization and Strong project management skills, with experience developing methodologies and approaches for new therapeutic areas.
