Job Details:

IHS Global Inc. seeks a Sr. Technical Specialist, Upstream Sales, Americas in Houston, TX to serve as a Sales Engineer to demonstrate our products to support & drive sales. Telecommuting permitted w/in normal commuting distance of Houston, TX office. Position requires up to 20% travel (15% domestic & 5% international) to visit clients & attend conferences. REQ: Bachelor’s in Petroleum Engg or a rel field plus 3 yrs exp in energy sector workflows. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $145,647 to $175,650. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses & certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. IHS Global is part of S&P Global and this role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
