Job Details:

Multiple positions are available for an Environmental Engineer - Remediation (Oakland) with Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. located in Oakland, California.

The Environmental Engineer - Remediation (Oakland) position will participate in multi-disciplinary project teams to execute contaminated site investigation and remediation projects under local, state and federal programs.

Candidates for this position must have a Master’s degree in Environmental, Civil or Chemical Engineering or closely related field; 1 year of experience as an Environmental Engineer, Civil Engineer, Environmental Engineering Researcher, or closely related position; 1 year experience with operation and maintenance of soil vapor extraction, vapor mitigation, or groundwater extraction and treatment systems, including equipment such as extraction wells, blowers, carbon vessels and telemetry controls; 1 year experience with preparing and reviewing technical environmental reports such as proposals, O&M manuals, work plans, monitoring reports, financing mechanisms or cost estimates; 1 year of experience with groundwater monitoring and reporting for compliance with Waste Discharge Requirements, including performing QA/QC of laboratory analytical data for water quality parameters and data analysis; 1 year experience with collecting groundwater, soil, soil vapor, and/or indoor air samples in accordance with federal, state, or industrial standards and demonstrated knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, properties of organic contaminants, fate and transport of contaminants in groundwater. The salary for this position is $114,608.00 per year.
