Job Details:

Global Analytical Development LLC, an Abbott Labs Co, in Pomona, CA seeks qualified Sr Mfg Process Eng. Lead a team of eng techs in development of mfg processes of toxicology products/devices w/in a regulated medical device mfg environment. Bachelors or foreign equiv in Industrial Eng, Mech Eng, Electromech Eng or in rltd eng fld of study w/ min. 5 yrs of rltd progressive pro mfg eng exp. Must possess exp in: (i) authoring validation protocols & plan validation activities & rltd stats analyses, incl Test Method Validation (TMV), Installation Qualification (IQ), Operation Qualification (OQ), Performance Qualification (PQ) & Process Performance Qualification (PPQ), according FDA 21 CFR Part 820 & ISO 13485; (ii) Six Sigma DMAIC, stats analyses (Gage R&R, Design of Experiments (DOE) & Cp/Cpk) & utilization of tools, incl JMP & Minitab, to support reliability test implementation & execution; (iii) conducting root cause analyses of mfg processes & implement Corrective Action/Preventative Actions (CAPAs) for nonconformance processes; (iv) developing & implementing mfg process solutions in automation & biosensor processes; (v) developing, prototyping, testing & transferring complex Eng Orders/Mech systems to prod; (vi) designing tooling & fixtures for mfg processes & working w/ Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs); & (vii) working w/ vision systems software, incl Cognex In-Sight Explorer. An EOE. 40 hrs/wk. $130,541 - $173,300/year.
