Job Details:
Product Owner for Equifax Inc. in St. Louis, MO, to lead the backlog refinement of features and user stories and ensure delivery teams are prepared to meet sprint deadlines; serve as the conduit between user needs, technical capabilities, and engineering requirements, developing these into roadmaps and requirements for the Agile backlog of a development team; work with others on a day-to-day basis to help make decisions on what is in scope and provide input into functional decisions; daily interaction with the teams building the products; focus on product level impediments and process changes to enable faster and higher quality software; decisions on trade-offs between features, quality and dates in order to provide the best solution for our clients; product leadership is aware of key issues and changes, and provide them with the right information and recommendations to resolve issues; work with Product Managers to ensure the features in a release represent what is needed and that return on investment is in line with their expectations; in-depth knowledge of goals and desired objectives of the initiatives and features; work with Architect(s) and Tech Lead(s) to identify non-functional requirements like infrastructure needs; work with Quality Assurance team member(s) to identify test cases for automated testing; and coordinate with business customers to conduct product integration testing Key Responsibilities Preparation and Participation in PI Planning Program Backlog.
Requires:
No degree plus seven (7) years of experience as a Product Owner or related occupation with experience managing product enhancements and requirements for development teams in a Technical Product Support capacity or, alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus five (5) years of experience as a Product Owner or related occupation with experience managing product enhancements and requirements for development teams in a Technical Product Support capacity. Specific skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Analysis of client/technical partners issues and file new features, enhancements and bugs in JIRA; Document new functionalities, troubleshooting strategies, user journeys and develop additional supporting materials in collaborative spaces like Confluence and Lucid tool; Understanding of GCP’S data and analytic services including Bigquery and Dataflow to inform product decisions based on data insights; Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools used in GCP environments (such as Jenkins and ARGO CD), understanding of API concepts like RESTful API design principles and API specifications (OpenAPI, Swagger); Maintain key relationships with core clients and Technical partners during development, deployment and troubleshooting IT projects and solutions for RCA's; Product and Technology Roadmap development in AHA with inputs from clients, business and technology partners to identify business priorities and risks in program meetings; and Large-scale distributed systems, web service technologies such as XML, SOAP, user interface/interaction, and knowledge of Software Development Lifecycles.
