Job Details:
BU Technology - Group Manager for Equifax Inc. in Alpharetta, GA, to provide strategic level leadership to identify and implement appropriate strategies to maximize the use of Global IT resources in support of a mid-sized Business Unit (or significant portions of a larger BU) or large region. Focus resources on corporate priorities/goals/objectives while meeting the needs of the BU as a strategic partner. Responsible for overseeing the overall information systems function in a subpart of the overall organization (major region, region, country, group, division, subsidiary, other subpart, or a major functional area), or for overseeing one or more of the following areas: internal systems design, internal systems programming, applications programming, telecommunications, networks, computer operations, data warehouse, and/or enterprise-wide systems. Identify emerging trends in IT and determine how these can be applied in a business context to provide business advantage. Manage, prioritize and optimize IT assets/resources across the organization to drive maximum business benefit. Frequently interact with and present to BU senior leadership team as well as senior level leaders across functional COE areas. Identify, recruit, develop and retain a high performance team of professional leaders.
Requires:
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus six (6) years of experience as a Technology Manager or related occupation with experience in all aspects of software development including deployment or, alternatively, a Master's degree in computer engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and four (4) years of experience as a Technology Manager or related occupation with experience in all aspects of software development including deployment. Specific skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Java architecture, including JVM, UML or OO; Spring and Hibernate frameworks, Unix shell scripting, and WebSphere application servers; modern design patterns, including micro services or RestfulAPI; information systems domain, including FCRA regulatory compliance and consumer credit; and Performance tuning of Big Data production environments.
