Job Details:

Business Intelligence Developer for Equifax Inc. in Alpharetta, GA, to be responsible for the design and implementation of data engineering frameworks to scale development and deployment of data pipelines across the DEA organization; build complex batch and streaming pipelines to ingest data from upstream Equifax cloud systems; enable new GCP services and support the data needs of self-service capabilities to enhance functionality of our data platform; test both functional and non-functional aspects of the Data Pipelines developed and work closely with Product Owners, other Data Engineers and BI Developers to speed up the efficient data delivery mechanisms; responsible for active participation in the Agile methodologies such as backlog grooming sessions and sprint deliveries making sure that the end to end Data pipeline is thoroughly tested as per the guidelines defined by the DEA Team so as to support the release cadence; monitor data quality for accuracy, completeness, consistency, credibility, correctness, accessibility, compliance, confidentiality, efficiency, precision, traceability, understandability, availability, portability, and recoverability within the established data management policies; collaborate with subject matter experts, functional owners, data owners and analysts to define and implement data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure key enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable; and coordinate all data activities with other organizational governance teams, working within established protocols and policies.

Requires: 

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience as Business Intelligence Developer, or related occupation in data engineering, data architecture, or a big data environment or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as Business Intelligence Developer, or related occupation in data engineering, data architecture, or a big data environment. Specific skills/other requirements - Experience must include (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Build complex data pipelines and solutions using at least 2 of the following: BigQuery, DataFlow, DataProc, Pub/Sub, or Cloud Functions; Experience with Airflow or Cloud Composer; Java/Python development and, SQL; Jenkins, GitHub; and Data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration. Must possess (certification): Google Cloud Digital Leader.
