“Private Equity Associate” sought by BharCap Partners, LLC (“BharCap” or “BharCap Partners”), headquartered at 165 Mason Street, 2nd Floor, Greenwich, CT 06830. Position is a permanent, immediately available, job opportunity that does not require any travel for business. It is one-hundred percent office-based today (see firm address, noted above), meaning that regular telecommuting from home is not allowed. Because the role is based full-time in Greenwich, Connecticut (as a five-day weekly, office-based job again), person filling it must therefore live in Greenwich, Connecticut or the surrounding area. This is a professional position in financial analysis and portfolio review for private equity sponsors and other strategic partners, specifically focused on work around mergers-and-acquisitions (“M&As”), capital raises, asset and wealth management, fund performance analysis and administration, and investment banking for transportation, financial services, and financial technology applications. The “Private Equity Associate” plays a key, hands-on role in executing a wide array of finance-related responsibilities with respect to administering these broader functions. This work includes daily analysis of fund performance, as well as loan and credit refinancing, and managing inflows and outflows. The position helps manage financial resources and their deployment effectively. It is involved with financial analysis work relating to Initial Public Offerings (“IPOs”) and other equity financing transactions, all toward controlling risk and managing transaction costs. Other specialized finance work includes ensuring compliance with relevant federal regulations. This includes ensuring capital ratio and regulatory compliance in finance for banks; performance of stress-testing analyses for capital-requirement compliance purposes; and to assess the impact of refinancing transactions on overall corporate or institutional finances. Responsibilities performed, note, will further include: develop, maintain and enhance tools used to manage risk and investment exposure to market conditions; evaluate new financial product initiatives; and support the development and implementation of strong frameworks for achieving excellence in financial analysis and portfolio review for private equity sponsors and other strategic partners (referenced in the foregoing).
This position, to be clear, is not a supervisory capacity. The "Private Equity Associate” at BharCap Partners does not have subordinate, direct reports. Position is a hands-on, individual contributor, responsible for regular and ongoing, financial analysis and portfolio review work (as described above). The role, in short, to disclaim, it does not manage other BharCap personnel. Position reports directly to and is supervised by BharCap Partners’ Chief Financial Officer.
Full-time position requires a Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in business, finance, economics, or related field (which can include mathematics). It also requires three years of experience in all the following areas: (a) performing financial analysis and portfolio review for private equity sponsors and other strategic partners regarding M&As, capital raises, asset and wealth management, fund performance analysis and administration, and investment banking for transportation, financial services and financial technology applications; (b) analyzing and addressing loan and credit refinancing needs; (c) performing financial analysis in the context of IPOs and other equity financing transactions, all toward controlling risk and managing transaction costs; and (d) ensuring capital ratio and regulatory compliance in finance for banks, to include performance of stress-testing analyses for capital-requirement compliance purposes, as well as to assess the impact of refinancing transactions on overall institutional finances.
