Alere San Diego, an Abbott Labs Co., located in San Diego, CA seeks qualified Mfg Supvr. Resp for supervising prod workers & front-line mfg leaders in daily medical device mfg activities. Bachelors or foreign equiv in Eng, Bio or in rltd tech or sci fld of study w/ min. 3 yrs of pro eng or mfg exp. Must possess exp in: (i) daily med device mfg activities associated w/ scheduling, output, reporting, training, inventory ctrl, documentation completion & review; (ii) assisting in both external & internal regulatory audits; (iii) leading Lean Mfg & Cont. Improvement Initiatives & employee training incl Kaizen events, 5S, Gemba & Value streaming, & identifying, implementing & documenting improvements for improved metric performance; (iv) maintaining ongoing mfg site compliance w/ med device mfg regulations & industry standards, incl FDA 21 CFR 820 & ISO 13485; & (v) supporting new equipment, product &/or process installation & validation & new product transfer, validation & process improvement implementation. An EOE. 40 Hrs/wk. $94,578 - $173,300/year.
