Job Details:
Analytics Program Manager (ACE American Insurance Company (Chubb), Whitehouse Station, NJ): Managing comprehensive insurance analytics program including data engineering, data analysis, analytics modeling, and reporting; Collaborating to identify key business requirements and contributing to the development of analytics solutions; Assisting in designing and implementing analytics methods that support risk assessment, pricing, and claims analysis; Working with a team of data analysts, providing support to ensure efficiency of analytics projects and meet deadlines; Maintaining knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies, providing recommendations on analytics methodologies and tools; Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, understanding their analytics needs and priorities; Contributing to the planning and tracking of program milestones and deliverables; Assisting in managing program risks, issues, and dependencies, and contributing to the development of mitigation strategies; and Ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all program stakeholders. The following skills and experience are required to perform the above-mentioned tasks: Experience with insurance terminology, products and processes including risk assessment, underwriting, claims, and actuarial practices; Experience creating and delivering presentations on technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; Experience developing analytics strategies to drive business outcomes; Experience extracting data and using reporting and visualization tools including Tableau, QlikSense, Power BI, and Excel; Experience pulling data from a variety of source system types, including databases, files, and APIs; Experience programming in SQL, R, and Python; Experience driving project outcomes with measurable KPIs through analytical initiatives, process improvements via optimized analytics workflow using automation/ETL tools, and stakeholder collaboration; Experience with analytical data science and data mining including statistical analysis (regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and forecasting), data wrangling, and software including SAS, SAS E Miner, and SPSS; Experience with MS project management tools including Project and Visio. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science or related field and at least five (5) years of experience as a Data Analytics Program Manager or related occupation. Option to work from home available. Salary: $170,373 - $190,000/year.
